25/26 Season Kit Rankings — The Best and Worst New Jerseys
We rank every major club home kit for the 25/26 season. From Barcelona's classic stripes to some questionable design choices — see who got it right.
How We Ranked These Kits
We judged every kit on four criteria: design originality, how well it respects the club's heritage, fabric quality and comfort, and overall value for money. We looked at home, away, and third kits across the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1. These rankings reflect our honest opinion — no brand loyalty, no sponsor bias.
Best Home Kits
The home kit is the identity of a club. The best ones honour tradition while still feeling fresh. Here are the standouts for 25/26.
Chelsea Third Kit (Nike)
A simple, clean design on a solid base inspired by Chelsea's 2004/05 Premier League-winning season. Subtle detailing without being cluttered. Nike nailed the balance between nostalgia and modernity here.
Barcelona Home (Nike)
The Blaugrana stripes are iconic for a reason, and this season's version gets the width and colour balance just right. The classic crest placement and clean collar make it one of the purest Barcelona shirts in years.
AC Milan Home (Puma)
The Rossoneri stripes are timeless, and Puma has kept things classic with a refined collar and minimal sponsor interference. The fabric feels premium even at the replica tier.
Arsenal Away (Adidas)
A fresh take on the iconic lightning bolt design. The navy shirt with metallic detailing and red three-stripe sleeves is bold without being loud. One of Adidas' best away designs in years.
Sunderland Away (Adidas)
A maritime-themed jersey covered in coastal landmark patterns, including the Roker Beach lighthouse. The phrase "City by the Sea" sits inside the collar. Thoughtful, beautiful, and deeply connected to the city.
Best Away & Third Kits
Away kits are where designers get to experiment. The best ones are bold enough to stand on their own while still feeling like the club.
Tottenham Away (Nike)
All-black Spurs on the road. Clean, minimal, and undeniably sharp. Nike stripped everything back and let the silhouette do the talking. One of the most wearable football shirts of the season.
Real Madrid Away (Adidas)
A refined design that manages to feel luxurious without being overdone. The away colourway complements the classic home white perfectly, and the Adidas detailing is subtle.
Juventus Third Kit (Adidas)
Adidas pushed the creative boundaries here with an abstract pattern that references Turin's architectural heritage. Divisive but memorable — exactly what a third kit should be.
The Disappointments
Not every kit can be a winner. These ones missed the mark this season.
Manchester United Home (Adidas)
Another season, another underwhelming United home shirt. The template feels generic and the detailing lacks imagination. For a club with United's history, the home kit should feel special — this one doesn't.
PSG Third Kit (Nike)
An overly busy design that tries to do too much. The pattern clashes with the sponsor logos, and the overall effect is more fast fashion than football heritage. PSG deserve better from Nike.
Kit Trends for 25/26
A few clear trends have emerged across this season's kit launches.
Retro Is King
Clubs are mining their archives more than ever. Collar styles, badge placements, and stripe widths are all referencing past glories. Fans love it, and it sells.
Adidas Dominance
Adidas supplies kits for nearly a quarter of all clubs across the top five leagues. Their three-stripe branding is everywhere, and the quality of their designs this season has been consistently high.
Minimalism Over Maximalism
The best kits this season are the simplest. Clean lines, restrained colour palettes, and thoughtful details beat busy all-over prints every time.
Sustainability Messaging
Almost every major brand now highlights recycled materials and sustainable manufacturing. It's becoming a standard expectation rather than a selling point.
Where to Buy
We stock a curated selection of the best kits and jerseys from this season. Browse our full collection to find your club's latest shirt, or check out the official brand stores for the complete range.
Prices vary between replica (fan) and authentic (player) versions. Replica kits use slightly heavier fabric and are designed for everyday wear. Authentic kits use the same lightweight, performance-grade fabric as the players — they fit tighter, breathe better, and cost more.
Tip: End-of-season sales are the best time to pick up kits at a discount. Once a new season's kit is announced, the previous one typically drops 30–50% — and the design doesn't change for 12 months.
